You’ve got options:

*Box Office Hours: Open every Friday from 12PM-5PM. The box office is located at the venue, 510 O’Keefe Ave. This is a great way to get tickets for Civic shows with no fees!

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX. At the box office, we can also accept cash.

We are able to scan your tickets off your phone, but you must turn the brightness all the way up for the scanner to read the barcode. If you have any issues, we can always reprint tickets night of show at our box office window.

What is your refund policy?

All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be honored unless a show is cancelled. In the event of a cancellation, you will be refunded automatically if you purchased through Ticketmaster. Please allow 10-15 business days for processing.

I’m unable to attend the show! Can I transfer my purchased ticket?

If ticket transfers are allowed for the show (check your Ticketmaster account to confirm), here’s some information on how to do just that! We also recommend checking the show’s Facebook Event for any potential buyers.

Is your show General Admission or Reserved? / Are there seats for GA shows?

Each show is different. Please check the event page or your ticket to see whether the show has assigned seating, is general admission, or floor only.

At most General Admission shows, we offer standing room on the floor and first-come, first-serve seating in the balcony (2nd level) and gallery (3rd level). And there isn’t a bad seat in the house!

Our reserved seating shows offer seating on each level of the Theatre (floor, balcony, gallery, and our opera boxes).

No matter what, our ushers will be happy to assist you to your seat if you’d like.

Is ADA seating available?

We offer ADA seating for every show on our first floor.

For a General Admission show, please purchase a GA ticket and come to our box office night of show so we can show you to the ADA section.

For a reserved seated show, please reach out to us directly at boxoffice@civicnola.com and we will assist you in purchasing your tickets.

Please note that we do not have elevator access to our upper levels.

Does Civic Theatre have age restrictions?

Unless otherwise noted on a show’s ticketing page, the Civic is all-ages, all the time!

Is there a bar on the premises?

The Civic features a bar on each floor, offering a wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages, beer, wine, and spirits. We do not, however, offer food. There are plenty of stellar restaurants in the neighborhood!

Is smoking permitted?

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the venue. Patrons may smoke in the Civic’s alley entrance.

Can I exit and re-enter the venue?

We are unable to offer re-entry during shows.

Can I bring my bag to the show?

All bags are subject to search upon entry. Backpacks, suitcases, and large bags will not permitted inside the venue.

Can I bring my camera into the show?

You can bring a nonprofessional camera to most shows, and you can inquire about the specific photo policy at the door on the day of show.
Professional photo requests need to be approved by the band directly. The best way to get in touch with the band is through their management or PR team. Most management/PR contacts can be found on the band’s website/socials or liner notes of albums.
